    Black Gold® ABS Chemical Plus XLPE

    Recommended For: Transfer of chemical products from a supply ship to an offshore drilling rig or platform; and for transfer applications on offshore or onshore drilling rigs or platforms. See Gates Chemical Resistance Table for proper hose selection.

    • Temperature Range: -40°C to +121°C (-40°F to +250°F).
    • Construction: Tube: Type K (Gatron™ Modified Cross-linked Polyethylene.)
    • Reinforcement: Multiple plies of synthetic cord. Wire helix.
    • Cover: Type P (EPDM). Black corrugated with purple stripe.
    • Design Factor: 5:1.
    • Couplings: 71 (permanent crimp or swage). Reference the Hose Coupling Section.
