Severe Service Straight Silicone Coolant Hose
Many heavy-duty vehicles manufactured in 2007 or later have advanced emissions systems that run hotter under the hood than previous models, requiring the use of a silicone coolant hose to maintain optimal temperatures. The Gates® Silicone Coolant Hose is a high-quality 4-ply silicone hose that was built to excel when the going gets hot.
- Extreme temperature capabilities, running from -65°F to +347°F (-55°C to +175°C) continuous to +500°F (260°C) for Aramid reinforcement
- SAE 20R1 Class A, standard wall
- Easily identified with an orange silicone tube, reinforced with four plies of Aramid fabric and a glossy blue silicone cover
- Use on hose bead fitting fastened with hose clamps
