We manage key materiel concerns such as greenhouse gas emissions, energy consumption, waste generation and water consumption. As individuals and as a company, we continue working together to reduce the impact of our global ecological footprint.
Gates is dedicated to creating and establishing business practices that have a positive impact on the global climate change crisis. We are committed to reducing our Greenhouse gas emissions by fifteen percent by 2025. Following on base line work that began in 2019, we are currently on track to meet or exceed this target.

The project-based initiatives allow our team the ability to use their ingenuity, creativity and sharing of best practices to help us meet our goal to reduce energy consumption by 20% by 2025.

Gates continues to identify opportunities and develop solutions to address the waste produced at our sites across the world, and we work to divert waste from landfills where possible.
