Inspect at 60K Miles and Replace at 90K Miles

I60R90Think I60 & R90

The best way to prevent costly system failure is to remember the Car Care Council’s recommendation. Start inspecting the serpentine, cooling and timing systems at 60K miles, and replace worn components by 90K miles or as advised by the manufacturer. When components wear, they put the entire system at risk. Combine belts and tensioners, water pumps and hoses, and use timing component kits for a complete system repair.

Kilometers: Think 100 & 150

Start inspecting the serpentine, cooling and timing systems at 100,000 kilometers, and replace worn components by 150,000 kilometers, or as advised by the manufacturer. When components wear, they put the entire system at risk. Combine belts and tensioners, water pumps and hoses, and use timing component kits for a complete system repair.
