PowerGrip® GT®3 Belts - 2M and 3M

The PowerGrip GT3 belt has twice the load carrying capacity of its predecessor HTD®. In addition, less width is required compared to HTD, allowing lighter, more compact drives.

PowerGrip GT3 belts are suitable for many applications including data storage, machine tool, hand power tools, postage handling, DC Stepper/Servo, food processors, office machines, centrifuges, money handling, medical diagnostic, sewing machines, ticket dispensers, robotics, vending machines and vacuum cleaners.

PowerGrip GT3 part numbers are comprised of pitch, pitch length and width. For example; part number 100-2MGT-04 denotes a 2mm pitch, 100mm pitch length and 4mm width.

Belt pitch is the distance in millimeters between two adjacent tooth centers as measured on the pitch line of the belt. Belt pitch length is the total length (circumference) in millimeters as measured along the pitch line. The theoretical pitch line of a PowerGrip GT3 belt lies within the tensile member.

The highest density 5mm rubber belt, the PowerGrip GT3 belt has twice the load carrying capacity of its predecessor HTD®. In addition, less width is required compared to HTD, allowing lighter, more compact drives.

PowerGrip® GT®3 Belts - 8M and 14M

Reduce both acquisition costs and transaction costs by designing with PowerGrip GT3. The PowerGrip GT3 belt has two times the rating of competitive RPP® belts, and its predecessors PowerGrip GT and HTD® belts. PowerGrip GT3 drive systems offer the largest selection of belts and sprockets in the industry. At reduced widths, PowerGrip GT3 belts can be used as a direct replacement for most 8mm and 14mm pitch standard rubber RPP® and HTD synchronous belts.

8M and 14M PowerGrip GT3 belts are conductive in accordance with ISO 9563. When belt drive systems are located in potentially hazardous environments, safe and reliable dissipation of electrostatic charges is critical - a secondary means of dissipation such as static grounding brushes is recommended.

Do not use HTD or RPP® profiled sprockets in new designs. PowerGrip GT3 belts can be used on existing HTD or HT100® sprockets as replacement belts, usually at the next narrowest width.
