Gates premier distributor PT Probesco Disatama, in Pekanbaru, Indonesia has opened their first construction retail shop and has plans for more openings at other branches. Pekanbaru is located on the western most island of Sumatra.

PT Probesco spent months preparing for the grand opening with the help of Gates Singapore. The Pekanbaru branch was identified by our construction market survey as a primary heavy equipment repair and parts house in the region. Special signage outside distinguishes the business as a Gates Construction Distributor.

The dedicated and enthusiastic staff of PT Probesco prepared themselves for the grand opening in which over 100 customers attended. The day long celebration included music, food, prizes, presentations and a two hour Safe Hydraulics course. Jay Guddat, the Managing Director of Asia Pacific, attended and officially unveiled the shop.
