On October 10th, 2003 PT Probesco Disatama opened its 7th & 8th Gates Construction Shops in Palembang & Maura Enim, West Sumatra, Indonesia. As a result of the close proximity of both locations, a combined grand opening ceremony was held in a hotel in Palembang.

Probesco’s President & CEO, Mr Saripin together with Mr Yeong Hor Foong, General Manager (Sales & Marketing) of Gates Rubber Company officiated the opening ceremony of Gates 17th & 18th Construction Shops in Asia in the presence of more than 60 guests.

As one of our Gates Construction Program features, the shop was equipped with Gates exclusive proprietary QuickPic & AIM software, hence increasing the efficiency of parts identification and inventory management. This in turn resulted in faster response time and shortened lead time to end users.

PT Probesco, our dedicated business partner has a very established distribution network in the construction equipment industry in West Sumatra. With the opening of these 2 shops, Probesco was now better positioned to serve the mining and oil industries with Gates full range of premium quality products and superior service standard in and around Palembang and Tanjung Enim.
