Dealer Training Program in South

To further upgrade and strengthen the value offered by Gates products and services, a one-day training program was organized in Bangalore on August 18, 2011, with the aim of propagating continuous improvement. The training was imparted on Complete Fluid Power Solutions provided by Gates, including Hoses, Couplings, and Complementary Products, with a focus on System Selling Approach. Gates team understands that training is an integral part of growth and needs to be given to channel partners across India, to realize this vision the first of its kind training was held at Bangalore, which was well-appreciated by the attendees. Training was imparted by Mr. Dinesh Sharma & Mr. Raj Iyer, Business Managers, After Market, who shared their experience and expertise in this field with the dealers. Emphasis was laid on the combined use of Gates Branded products and their benefits which serve as an answer all fluid-conveyance problems.

Distributor Training Program

Gates wished to welcome new members to its Channel Partner family in a unique way. All such New Distributors who had joined Gates in the recent past were invited to a two day retreat to Chandigarh. Day one they were shown around the most modern Hose Manufacturing facility at Lalru, followed by Training Sessions on various products, systems and applications. The faculty members were chosen from subject experts and senior engineers from Gates. The day ended with a formal dinner and get-together with Gates Management and Sales/Marketing Team.

Day two was allocated to site-seeing and a trip to neighbouring Shiwalik Hills. At Timber Trail Heights, Parwanoo, a training workshop on Leadership was conducted to mix business with pleasure. Games on Team Building were enjoyed by one and all present. Few Senior Channel Partners helped mentor and build confidence of the new joinees, who all went back with sweet memories of the trip.
