The new 8M5K wire-braid hose offers an unparalleled combination of pressure tolerance (35,0 MPa) and compactness (minimum bend radius of 90-mm) in a wire-braid construction.

8M5K offers an alternative to heavier, more expensive spiral hose in a variety of applications - especially load handling equipment and mounted boom cranes.

8M5K has been designed for use with the Gates Global MegaCrimp^® no-skive coupling range, developed to withstand impulse testing to 600,000 cycles at 133% of the working pressure, to ensure  compliance with European legislation and deliver performance levels above and beyond international standards.
