Operations Manager

Job content
You redirect the daily operations of the distribution activities and ensure that the objectives (productivity, quality, delivery reliability, service and safety) are achieved in a cost-efficient way.
You are responsible for coaching and motivating a team. By being present on the work floor, you make them aware of the objectives.
You determine the appropriate occupation and monitor the related costs.
You implement improvement in terms of efficiency and convert it to processes.
You act as a team player in close co-operation with the Continuous improvement Manager and all other stakeholders.
You closely communicate with all levels of the organization.
Profile
Master’s Degree with strong understanding of Supply Chain Management.
You have a number of years experience in a similar function, preferably in a DC environment.
You have confirmed people management experience and as a people manager you know how to motivate and inspire your team.
You are an excellent communicator, showing proactive behavior, able to prioritize tasks, stress resistant.
You have strong planning and organizational skill
You are fluent in English. Knowledge of Dutch is a must!
