Gates petroleum transfer hoses are easy to flex, easy to handle

Gates has three petroleum transfer hoses that are designed for flexibility and easy of handling.

Longhorn® is recommended for commercial gasoline, diesel fuel, oil and other petroleum products. It is ideal for oilfield service truck use. The hose is available with a smooth cover for less abrasion resistance or a corrugated cover for increased flexibility.

Maverick® will handle of a variety of petroleum products for tank truck, storage truck transfer and oilfield service truck use. Its corrugated cover reduces the force needed to bend the hose in tight-fitting applications.

Steer^TM is designed for petroleum discharge applications. It does not require a supporting helix and therefore is flexible and lightweight.

All three hoses have either neoprene or nitrile tubes and covers. These compounds are rated good to excellent for resistance to abrasion, weather/ozone, gas permeation, petroleum oils, and high and low temperatures.
