Gates new Cyclone® hose is the solution to the rust
contamination problem plaguing the poultry, pork and
beef processing industry.
Built with a reinforcement of braided, synthetic, high tensile
cord, Cyclone has no wire reinforcement that could be exposed to
rust-conductive elements of food processing. Yet, it is built to
handle high pressure washer operations using mild detergents in
meat and poultry processing plants.
Gates Cyclone has other product features:
- 30% lighter and 33% more flexible than wire reinforced hose.
- A high-visibility, yellow cover that resists weathering, oil,
animal fat, abrasion.
- Crush resistant.
- Temperature range: -40¡F to +212¡F (-40¡C to +100¡C) continuous
washdown service.
- Suitable for air and water service.
- 1000 psi maximum working pressure.
- Three ID sizes: 3/8, 1/2 and 3/4-in.
- Packaging: 500 ft. to 750 ft.; maximum three pieces; minimum
length 50 ft.; 100-ft. lengths coiled in carton.
