Recommended for: Tank truck, barge, ship, or storage tank suction and discharge transfer of basic chemicals. Mustang Crush Resistant is designed to handle over 950 basic acids and chemicals in working environments where the hose may be crushed or subjected to kinking. A monofilament helix provides full suction capability with exceptional integrity and strength in hose up to 2” in diameter. For applications requiring greater than 90% sulfuric acid, contact Gates Product Application.
 

Temperature range: -40°F to +250°F (-40°C to +121°C) normal service. Rating is dependent on the specific chemical conveyed. Call Gates Product Application for applications above 125°F (+52°C).

Tube: Type K (Gatron™ Modified Crosslinked Polyethylene). Tan.

Reinforcement: Synthetic, high tensile textile with monofilament helix (and static wire) providing crush and kink resistance.
NOTE: The hose is crush “resistant” but will not survive repeated crushings in the same area.

Cover: Type P (EPDM) hose. Black corrugated with orange spiral stripe.

Branding: Continuous transfer label.
